Portrait of Dr. Jiayin Zhang

I am a Research Scientist at Bosch Corporate Research in Shanghai, where my primary focus is the advancement of vehicle electrical and electronic (E/E) architecture. My professional objective is to adapt and integrate robust, reliable technologies originally designed for large-scale datacenters into modern vehicular systems, to enhance network performance, bolster system security, and improve deep system observability.

Prior to my journey at Bosch, I served as an intern at VMware, specializing in large-scale data-center workload scheduling. I hold a Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology. My academic research concentrated on optimizing resource allocation, task offloading, and energy-efficient scheduling across distributed edge and cloud networks.
